The YouTuber appeals to Donald Tusk. He’s desperate. “I’m serious”
Kamil Labudda made an urgent appeal to the Prime Minister. A Polish YouTuber wants to help flood victims.
Kamil Lubudda, simply called “Budda”, is an internet creator who became famous for his great actions during which he helped others. The boy, among others he paid for refueling cars for people he met at the gas station, he supported fans financially, he gave PLN 100,000. zlotys and sweets to one of the orphanages or donated large amounts to the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.
The YouTuber was in a difficult situation himself in the past – as a result of a serious accident in which he participated, his grandmother died and his mother was in a coma for several months. His late father suffered from alcoholism and faced a homelessness crisis. In turn, when “Budda” was 18, his mother kicked him out of the house. Because of this, the 24-year-old now helps others as much as he can. He has just offered his help to flood victims.
“Buddha” helps flood victims
The flood in the southwestern part of Poland left thousands of people deprived of their belongings. Many buildings were destroyed, so some people now cannot even enter their own apartments. For this reason, Kamil Labudda decided to help them and supported the construction of four large houses for flood victims from the areas of Paczków, Stronie Śląskie and Lądek-Zdrój.
“Thanks to Kamil Labudda “Budda”, a Polish YouTuber, a temporary town of houses from the “Letniskowo” company was created at the Paczków stadium. Flood victims from Paczków, Stronie Śląskie and Lądek Zdrój will live in the houses. Thus, together with the Paczków commune, which provided land and a 100-ton crane, Kamil Budda once again helped those in need,” said Artur Rolka, the mayor of Paczków.
However, the whole situation encountered some difficulties. Well, due to applicable tax regulations, people who need help must pay donation tax. In the case of the houses that the boy donated to flood victims, the amounts from this tax would be gigantic. For this reason, the YouTuber turned to Donald Tusk and appealed for changes in the regulations.
– This is a three-page letter, or rather a petition, prepared by our legal team, and it is addressed, please note, to the honorable Mr. Donald Tusk, Prime Minister. I’m absolutely serious. It has three pages, the rest is basically just our argument and the amounts involved. This is nothing more than our request to our government, to the Prime Minister, so that people who will be gifted with these houses by us do not have to pay taxes on the donation – explained Kamil Labudda in the recording he published.
