Złockie is a small village located in the Muszyna commune, Lesser Poland Voivodeship. It is one of the youngest health resorts in Poland, and it obtained this status in 2022.

According to “Gazeta Krakowska”, The construction of a modern promenade has already started in Złock spa resort. As part of the works, the existing promenade will be modernized and an asphalt bicycle path will be built parallel to it. The whole thing will stretch over a distance of 1.6 kilometers.

Mineral surfaces and surfaces made of composite boards will be created around the elements of small architecture. It is also planned to plant more trees of various species, hedges, perennials, ornamental grasses and bulbs. Along the promenade there will be elements such as: low walls with pedestals marking the entrances to sanatorium facilities and mineral water collection points. There will also be pocket parks, which are intended to enhance the “green” values ​​of the area and, at the same time, provide a space where you can go for a walk and regenerate.

– It will be a promenade with pocket parks and a bicycle path moved away from the promenade. Representative entrances will be created and illuminated. There will also be a lot of greenery and flowers. This is a part that significantly increases the attractiveness and standard of Złocki – said Jan Golba, mayor of Muszyna, in an interview with “Gazeta Krakowska”.

The entire investment is worth over PLN 9 million. The Muszyna commune managed to obtain co-financing from the European Regional Development Fund. Completion of the works is planned for August 2027.
