The words of Marcin Możdżonka caused a storm. “Hunting is not the harm of animals”
Marcin Możdżonek, referring to his entry after the hunter fatally shot the 60-year-old while hunting for wild boars, admitted that today “he would write it differently”. The president of the Supreme Hunting Council also surprised the journalist with his opinion on “animal harm”.
The police from Lubartów (Lubelskie Voivodeship) informed on Wednesday, August 20 that the court applied a temporary detention on a 40-year-old who, while hunting for wild, shot a 60-year-old resident of a nearby property. The incident occurred in the Michów commune. The detainee heard the charge of murder and threatens him with life imprisonment.
Commenting on the first information in this matter, the president of the Supreme Hunting Council and councilor Olsztyn Marcin Możdżonek “gave the family of the deceased man the most sincere condolences in connection with the tragic event in the Lubartów poviat, with the participation of hunting hunters.” The former Polish volleyball representative was criticized, among others by the left MP Łukasz Lithuanian.

Możdżonek added that “now he would write it differently, because we have official confirmation of this shameful, tragic, unnecessary event, an accident, a thing that will not fit in his head.” The Olsztyn councilor admitted that the case does not change anything when it comes to his view of the compulsion of periodic research in hunters. According to Możdżonka, “there is no correlation between the accident and research.”
