The woman believed that she was talking to the disco polo star. She lost her property

Recently, more and more often you hear about various internet frauds. However, you can get stretched not only by clicking on a suspicious link, but also believing that you talk to someone other than in reality. A few months ago it was loud about a woman who believed that she was having an affair with Brad Pitt. She poured his fortune into “treatment”. Similar situations also occur in Poland.

Fraud for a disco polo star

The story happened in Zambrów, on the border between Mazovia and Podlasie. A 35-year-old resident of this small city made contact with the person who claimed to be a popular disco polo music performer on the internet. Talks with the artist were so frequent that a woman even began to raise topics from private life.

The fraudster, using an internet messenger, built a report with her, and then persuaded to buy … a fictitious VIP card for a concert. However, this is not all, because the alleged musician also asked her to finance a trip to her to meet personally.

-Meeting face to face with a star, known so far only from the stage, was an opportunity that the 35-year-old could not pass. That is why after purchasing the VIP card, she decided on further expenses – reported young aspirant Marta Dmochowska, police press officer in Zambrów.

According to the representative of the Zambrów police, the woman realized that she had been victims of fraud only when she tried to contact the contractor through his official social account. She reported the matter to the services after she made transfers several times for a total of PLN 18,000. The account, from which the extorter contacted with the victim, was deleted. The uniforms warn that artists usually run verified profiles, which are observed by a large number of fans.
