The traveler chose the ugliest city in Poland. “Łódź seems more beautiful”

Zgierz

Not all cities in Poland like tourists like Wrocław or Krakow. The Brazilian tourist showed on Instagram a place that did not impress him.

The Brazilian tourist decided to decide once and for all which city in Poland is the ugliest. There have been many opinions for years in this topic-some Internet users are folding towards Łódź (which has fantastic attractions), and some choose cities in the Upper Silesian-Zagłębie metropolis. The traveler publishing on Instagram as The Brazilian Nomad believes, however, that this unconventional title belongs to Zgierz. All Internet users supported his position.

Zgierz does not like everyone

“Tourists never come here,” says Brazilian Caio living in Łódź about Zgierz every day. The traveler who describes himself as a digital nomad went to the city located in the Łódź Voivodeship to see with his own eyes if it was actually the ugliest place in Poland. “I wanted to see what this place offers. Unfortunately, there is nothing here, absolutely no attractions. It is really a much uglier city than others that can be found in this region. After a visit to Zgierz, even Łódź seems more beautiful,” he said, showing on the recording of the staff from his trip, where gray buildings, yard, graffiti or neglected railway station appeared. However, the Brazilian admitted that he liked one of the streets where he ate a traditional meal, as well as one of the temples. I am talking about the Cultural Park, the city of weaving at Father Szczepan Rembowski Street and the neo -Gothic church of St. Catherine of Alexandria.

Internet users did not agree

Not all Internet users shared the opinion of a foreigner. Some believed that the weather could be influenced by the weather, which was extremely unpleasant that day. “I was born there and raised. Trust me, with a good guide you could notice the beauty of Zgierz,” writes one of the people. Attention was also paid to other attractive places in this city that the Brazilian missed. “You were not in the main park and you did not visit raspberries, there are no murals. It looks like this film was made from the beginning with a view to a certain thesis,” says the Internet user.
