The tragedy in the life of Anita Włodarczyk. An entry that tugs at your heartstrings

Anita Włodarczyk is a great champion who goes far beyond the Polish realities. In the case of the famous hammerhead, the number of her successes can be counted for quite some time.

Three-time Olympic champion (London 2012, Rio de Janeiro 2016 and Tokyo 2020), four-time world champion (Berlin 2009, Moscow 2013, Beijing 2015, London 2017) and the same number of titles in the European championships (Helsinki 2012, Zurich 2014, Amsterdam 2016, Berlin 2018).

There were many, many more titles and medals in Włodarczyk’s career.

Death of Anita Włodarczyk’s father. A moving entry by an athletics champion

Unfortunately, on Thursday (i.e. March 26), very sad news arrived regarding the death of Włodarczyk’s father. The track and field champion posted a moving entry on Instagram, saying goodbye to a very important member of her family.

Dad. We didn’t have time to say goodbye in person yesterday, I was on my way to see you and we literally passed each other in the clouds. You were a great man, one of my most loyal fans. We have so many beautiful family memories.

Thank you for your support at all competitions, for your presence in the stadiums during the Olympic Games, World Championships, European Championships, that we could celebrate my successes together, thank you for every moment spent together.

You will be in my heart forever. I miss you very much, but remember that your kindness will be with me forever.

I believe that one day we will meet again on the other side. For now, watch over me.

Condolences have been pouring in from many famous figures, but also from fans who have been keeping their fingers crossed for the athlete’s performances for many years. Włodarczyk caused a wave of great emotions by sharing an entry in which there is a lot of them.
