On Monday (i.e. February 24) we passed on news about the fatal accident of Milena Widlak. The Polish Youth representative in Biathlon is fighting for recovery.
Milena Widlak is only 18 years old and is really at the beginning of the sports road. Unfortunately, a terrible accident has made the Polish player in the youth team, currently fighting for recovery.
– It was a seemingly ordinary fall during biathlon ski training. But the player flew into the forest and hit the trees. He has a broken spine and very serious head injuries. Now her condition is stable, but initially her life was threatened – the sports director of the Polish Biathlon Association described for Eurosport.

Agnieszka Cyl cited for the first time spoke in front of TVP Sport cameras. At that time, the director of the biathlon federation said that the matter was really serious.
– It’s very, very bad. We will need the support of everyone with a good, big heart. For now, we are looking for doctors who will give us a different forecast than one percent for Milena’s efficiency. I don’t believe it. Together with the entire staff, relationship and helpful people we will do everything. After this case, we pull out all possible acquaintances so that Milena will get on her feet – said Cyl.
As we informed in Monday’s text, the fork will certainly need support, signals from both the club and the closest player appeared. I am talking about consultation of specialists (neurosurgeon) in the context of the health of the fork and the later direction of rehabilitation centers.
It can also be assumed that soon there will be opportunities for direct support fighting for the health of a teenager through the collection.

Milena was all the last. We don’t know how it happened. The tree she hit at the coach’s account was two or three meters away from the route. Most likely, she hit the ground very hard first and only then the tree fell into this time. It seems that there were no defensive reflexes, nor the stick was broken, nor the ski, no limb. She only struck her head and back – added the club president, whose representative is a fork, also for Eurosport.
