Eleonora Boi is an Italian sports journalist and the wife of basketball player Danilo Gallinari. The woman and her husband and two children have lived in Puerto Rico for several months. Boi is in the third pregnancy. A shark recently attacked her.
The Italian journalist in social media shared the dramatic situation that met her. While swimming in the sea, the woman was attacked by a shark. She joined the post on the Instagram platform from the hospital.
“It was the worst day in my life. My grandmother Nella was right, saying: The sea is treacherous. I would never have thought that I could be attacked by a shark, especially so close to the shore, on a crowded beach” – from such words Eleonor Boi began her entry.
The journalist wrote that both she and her unborn child are safe. She said that her medical assistance was quickly provided. The surgery of a shark leg was necessary. The procedure was successful.
“Now I just have to recover after huge fear,” she added.
