The second safest city in Europe. There were crowds of Poles there
This European city is safer than Helsinki. Sun, sea, monuments and excellent cuisine await tourists.
When looking for a destination for a trip abroad in spring and summer, it is worth checking out what Spain has to offer. This year, the European country will attract tourists not only with its beaches and great weather, but above all with the stability of air connections. PLL LOT spokesman Krzysztof Moczulski believes that traditional destinations will experience a renaissance this year. Polish Airlines encourages tourists, among others: to book tickets to Malaga – the second safest city in Europe, after Helsinki.
Malaga is the perfect holiday destination
Wizz Air, Ryanair and PLL LOT – three airlines guarantee Poles direct connections to Malaga. Tourists therefore have a wide choice of connections from different cities and at different times. This is a good foundation for planning longer holidays and shorter city trips. This Andalusian city has much more to offer than simply relaxing by the sea (although the guaranteed 325 hours of sunshine are certainly a pleasant addition to your stay). “Malaga is a premium destination that helps disperse tourist traffic from beach areas. It offers a high-quality city break combining culture, gastronomy and lifestyle,” says Marta Crespo Calzada from the Office of the Tourism Counselor of the Spanish Embassy in Warsaw.
Malaga is a hit in the rankings
Malaga is not only the second safest city in Europe (after Helsinki) – the Spanish jewel also leads in other rankings. Malaga is, among others, the first in Spain in terms of adaptation to pedestrian traffic (there are as many as eighteen kilometers of streets intended exclusively for walking). It also regularly appears in the list of the best places to live according to Forbes. – We have consistently been in the top three over the last five years. This year we were second, last year we were first, and two years ago we were third. Tourists visiting Malaga do not feel alien – they feel they could stay here forever, adds Punzón.
