The recording from the Karkonosze Mountains caused a storm. She walked up a steep slope with her baby
The irresponsible incident became famous on the morning of November 12. The shock was caused by a recording showing a woman with a child. There was no penalty.
In a short video published, among others, on the Facebook page “Tatromaniak” you can see a woman with a child going up a steep slope, knocking stones onto the trail beneath them. “Very dangerous behavior on Śnieżka.” – we read in the description of the post about the case.
Disgraceful behavior of a tourist
A dangerous situation occurred near one of the most popular mountain routes in Poland. We are talking about the highest peak of the Karkonosze Mountains, the Sudetes and the Czech Republic. This is where tourists often go, including families with children, but it turns out that some people forget about basic safety rules. A woman walking with a child on the slope of Śnieżka was recorded by witnesses.
The tourist should have followed the traditional trail, just like other tourists, but she chose a rather unusual “route”, which could have led to a very dangerous situation. Przemysław Tołoknow, the Deputy Director of the Karkonosze National Park, commented on the matter and informed Onet that the Park Guard had fined the woman PLN 500. “Other tourists intervened and informed the Park Guard. Thanks to this, it was possible to locate these people immediately. This person was warned and received a penalty notice,” he said.
There was a wave of criticism
After the recording from Śnieżka was posted on the Facebook page, the Internet was full of sarcastic comments. Internet users did not spare criticism and were amazed. “Who will tell Madka how to live? She simply deserved this innovative trail. What Madka won’t do to show the bubble the world from a different perspective. What, you probably don’t like children, I don’t even feel sorry for you. Freedom for bubblegums,” it was written. “Seriously?! There is a string in the head to hold the ears,” we read further.
Many people did not hide the fact that they hoped that this person would be cautioned and punished. “I hope there was a nice gentleman from KPN waiting upstairs with a ticket in his hand, because something like this needs to be punished! Damn the woman, but the child could have slid down meters, not to mention the people on the trail who could have been hit by stones,” we read.
There were also comments that any comments towards a woman were inappropriate. “Soon people will be afraid to go to the mountains, because there will always be some smart guy standing there and recording a video, looking for attractions in order to then give people food to insult a woman with a child and point out her mistakes, pathetic behavior and pathetic comments (. ..)” – we see further.
