The president on a free Christmas Eve

I have just finished the discussion we had with representatives of the social side. The basic objection to the act and to those in power was that there were no public consultations on this matter (…) A number of objections were raised, I can say that the votes were split in half – said the president.

I said from the very beginning that I would really like it, because I believe that it is necessary for Christmas Eve to be a day off for people, so that they can focus calmly on preparing for the holidays, so that they can complete their Christmas Eve tasks peacefully at home. – he added.

The president emphasized that “the issue of equal treatment of employees will be considered very strongly by me and is being considered from this constitutional point of view.” When asked about the final decision, Andrzej Duda reminded that it would not apply to this year, so “there is some time to possibly resolve doubts.” “.
