The popular service at PKO BP stops working with Blik

PKO BP from June 13 withdraws Blik from the “I pay with IPKO” service and introduces new transfer limits. Customers must prepare for changes.
From June 13, 2025, PKO Bank Polski introduces changes in the “I pay from IPKO” service, the most important of which is the inability to use the code and the BLIK check with this form of payment. Users who have chosen “I pay from IPKO”, e.g. when online shopping, must prepare for a new payment organization – the BLIK function will no longer be available in this mode.
Changes in IPKO
If the customer still wants to use Blik, he must choose his icon directly on the online store’s website. The current integration of this method with the “I pay with IPKO” service ceases to apply, which means the end of convenient combination of fast authorization with the possibility of paying BLIK by the PKO online banking system.
This is not the only change introduced recently by the largest Polish bank. In May 2025, the bank announced the introduction of new day limits for transfers and transactions made by the IPKO website. It was established that the default limit is now 10,000. PLN, which means that customers who previously had higher limits have them automatically reduced to this amount. It is possible to change the limit to a higher one – up to 300,000. PLN – but only when using appropriate authorization methods and additional security.
Online shopping
The “I pay from IPKO” service still enables convenient online shopping and payments without providing a payment card data, as well as booking hotels, tickets, ordering food and digital services.
Payments take place without commission, and the transfer data is filled in automatically. Despite the resignation from Blik in this option, users can still use other available payment methods, including funds from a personal account and credit card limits.
