Robert Dobrzycki from Panattoni intends to take over Widzew Łódź. Sylwester Cacek from the Sphinx restaurant, who also once bought Widzew, wanted to bid on his coat of arms to pay off club debt.
In the coming days, Widzew Łódź is to change the owner. Robert Dobrzycki, an entrepreneur and one of the richest Poles, will become the new buyer of the legendary Łódź club. For years, he has been developing the power of Panattoni, a giant developer of warehouse space not only in Europe, but also India or Saudi Arabia.
Panattoni logo is not enough
On Monday, March 17, Dobrzycki announced that he had come to a full agreement with the current Widzewa authorities regarding his investment in the Łódź club.
– I hope that within a few weeks, in the hope that even up to two, we will be able to transfer our agreement to relevant contracts and seal with signatures
