The opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games was full of exciting moments. During the approximately 180-minute event, viewers witnessed constant references to famous French cultural symbols and the country’s turbulent history.
The entire gala looked incredibly spectacular and made a huge impression. This report from the banks of the Seine was watched in person by over 300 thousand viewers, while in front of the TVs – according to estimates – even 1.5 billion people. It was to such a huge audience that not only Lady Gaga (who performed the song “Mon truc en plumes” by Zizi Jeanmaire) and Celine Dion (singing “L’Hymne à l’amour” from the repertoire of Édith Piaf) had the opportunity to present themselves, but also the talented Pole.
At one point during the ceremony, the cameras focused on an artist dressed in white, who turned out to be Jakub Józef Orliński. This world-famous singer and tenor is called by many “the most beautiful voice in Europe”. During the event The 33-year-old had the opportunity to perform the piece “Viens, Hymen” from the opera “Les Indes galantes”or from “Zamorskie zaloty”. What’s more, a moment later the artist also showed the audience his dancing skills – it is no secret that Jakub Józef Orliński dances breakdance in his free time and together with the group Skill Fanatikz has some success in this field.
