The perfect autumn destination from Poland. “There is a clear increase in interest”

Poles are increasingly traveling in this direction. According to eSky.pl data, in the flight segment the number of passengers increased by over 40%.

As the colder part of the year begins in Poland, more and more people are looking for a place where autumn still resembles summer at least a little. One of the destinations that is clearly gaining popularity is Morocco. Right now, the conditions for sightseeing there are much milder than in the middle of the season, and it is easy to combine a stay in a big city with a trip to the ocean, the mountains or the desert. As Mateusz Dul, an expert from the online travel agency eSky.pl, points out, interest in trips to this country is growing very quickly.

Poles choose Morocco

Data shows that it’s not just a fad. From January to August 2026, the number of Flight+Hotel packages to Morocco doubled compared to the previous year, and the number of passengers purchasing flights alone increased by over 40%. Agadir and Marrakesh are the most popular, while Poles most often set off from Krakow, Warsaw and Wrocław. “In eSky.pl data we see a very clear increase in interest in trips to Morocco,” emphasizes Mateusz Dul. In autumn, it may be even greater, especially since new flights to Marrakech and Rabat are being added to the network. Morocco is increasingly chosen by people who do not want to spend their entire holiday in one hotel. “The diversity of this country allows you to combine oriental culture and architecture, extremely rich cuisine, local traditions, desert, mountains and ocean,” writes eSky.pl.

The largest increase in tourists from abroad

The great interest in Morocco among Poles is also confirmed by the local Ministry of Tourism. In the first eight months of 2026 alone, this African country attracted 14.1 million tourists, an increase of 4.5%. compared to the first half of 2025, Poles were responsible for the largest, as much as 32%, increase in the number of foreign tourists. We have thus clearly overtaken other gaining markets – the United States (an increase of 9%), Italy (an increase of 6%) and the United Kingdom (an increase of 4%).
