A parachute jumper had to land in Nowy Targ. Unfortunately, there was a tragedy.
He is a 40-year-old resident of Gorlice (Lesser Poland Voivodeship). The accident occurred in Nowy Targ – on Sunday afternoon.

Polsat News contacted the younger brigadier Krzysztof Batkiewicz to learn about the details of the case. A representative of the press team of the District Commander of the State Fire Service in Nowy Targ revealed that the jumper tried to open the main parachute, which was impossible.
So he landed using a second parachute – emergency. This, however, did not help-the 40-year-old with impetus fell to the ground.
The emergency medical team was called, which landed by helicopter of the Air Ambulance Service. In addition to the fire brigade and ZRM, the police were also there. The officers for some time conducted activities in an uninhabited area, where the jumper landed.
