The new attraction is not yet open, but Poles are already outraged. “They’ll come together now”
Visitors to the landscape park in the province will find a new viewing platform. Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. The grand opening is announced for December.
Observation towers and platforms have their supporters and opponents. Those who like them will definitely come to the Łosiowe Mountains near Grudziądz. This is where the construction of the new attraction ends. It is scheduled to open at the end of 2026.
Viewing platform on the Łosiowe Mountains
The Łosiowe Mountains Landscape Park is a famous tourist spot in Poland. Of course, it is most often visited by local residents. The situation is expected to change with the creation of the new attraction. The viewing platform is located in Zakurewo and is intended to be an important natural site. Its representatives intend to attract, among others, photographers.
Taskomont-3, a daughter company of the SOLGRUD GROUP, is responsible for the investment, and the subcontractor is Melbud SA Photos of the platform can already be seen on the group’s Facebook page. They show that the route runs, among others, over a sandy, forest area right next to the water. It is quite long, winding and fits perfectly into the local landscape.
Although the place may appear to be open, it is still not available. “For safety reasons, please refrain from visiting until you obtain the appropriate permits,” we read in Solgrud’s Facebook post.
Not everyone likes the attraction
Although the platform promises to be interesting and will allow you to admire the panorama of the commune, the surrounding landscapes and the Vistula River from a height, not everyone is delighted with the new solution. Various moods can be felt under photos of attractions on social media.
“And the intimacy will end. They are taking all the places where people used to go for peace, and now they will gather together,” we read in one of the Facebook comments. There is a visible fear of crowds and loss of the current atmosphere. Others, on the other hand, do not hide the fact that they have already seen the place in person and are delighted. “I think there is a better view of the Vistula Valley only in Nowe, in the housing estate. Overall, I am impressed,” we read.
The investment was carried out as part of the “Kujawsko-Pomorska Akademia Ekologiczna” project, co-financed by EU funds.
