The most Viral Hotel in Poland

Stradom House to kwintesencja tego, co definiuje krakowski styl

A place that not only guests tourists, but celebrates a lifestyle. In an interview with CEO Izabela Lis-Ozimek, we ask, among others About what the everyday management of management looks like the most luxurious city hotel in Poland.

Stradom House Autograph Collection recently celebrated his second birthday. It might seem that two years is not much, but you have achieved a lot in this short time. How do you remember this period?

Two years in the world of hotel industry is an intense sprint, and sometimes even a marathon – especially when you have great ambitions. From the first day we knew that Stradom House would not be another luxurious hotel on the map of Krakow. We wanted to build a space that is teeming with vitality, combines history with modernity and becomes a lifestyle icon. It was two years of uncompromising team work and consistent brand building, which today inspires and has become an integral part of the landscape of Krakow. And this is just the beginning.

You can already boast of many prestigious awards, and recently Stradom House was the only one in Poland the title of the most luxurious city hotel in the World Luxury Hotel Awards competition. This is a great achievement! What, in your opinion, distinguishes Stradom House from other luxurious places in the country?

Thank you. This award is an honor for us, but also confirmation that luxury does not have to be cold or even intimidating. Stradom House is the essence of modern luxury: personalized, aware, full of emotion, art and detail. We combine high quality with the spirit of this place, its history, local identity and hospitality culture, which goes far beyond the adopted standards. We are distinguished by authenticity and character.

We often hear about the Krakow lifestyle – Stradom House defines him again. What does this mean in practice?

Krakow lifestyle is nothing but the art of celebrating life with elegance, distance and a hint of nonchalance. These are meetings with wine in intimate beautiful interiors, walks among stories, passion for art and design. Stradom House is the quintessence. Our hotel not only draws on the city spirit – we interpret it again. In your own way, but with respect for the past and courage to look into the future.

Your spaces are eagerly chosen for various events – from intimate meetings to large events of the most prestigious brands as well as photo sessions and film productions. What makes the event planners so willingly choose you?

Stradom House is not an ordinary background for events, he becomes their integral part. Our interiors, architecture and energy create a unique scenery that affects the senses. Importantly, in addition to the place we also have a great band that is flexible and very creative. The organizers know that we will not so much fulfill their expectations, but we will exceed them. Our spaces are eagerly chosen for various events – from intimate meetings to large events of the most prestigious companies. Confirmation of this uniqueness is the fact that Stradom House was chosen to promote large international productions, such as the Viral Netflix series “Emily in Paris”, Lexus, Range Rover and Bentley cars or the Belgian brand Tripel Carmeliet. We also hosted the production of a large Polish cinema hit, but I can’t reveal the title yet. After two years, I can safely say that this place inspires both creators and guests.

Guests are coming back, the reviews are enthusiastic, and the city seems to be discovered again … just from the perspective of Stradom House. I have the impression that around the hotel and spaces that are open to everyone, not only for guests, a kind of community has created. Did you wonder what the magic of this place is?

The magic of Stradom House lies in connection between people, space and experience. From the very beginning we knew that we did not want to create barriers. Our restaurants, Hedwig’s or SPA club are for everyone. It seems to me that this inclusion attracts a community that wants to be part of something more than just a hotel stay. It is a place built on emotions and relationships, whose door is always open to everyone.

Many hotels operate according to beaten schemes, but Stradom House goes their own way. What were the bravest decisions that made during these two years?

The very assumption that we could combine 500 years of history with a modern approach to hotel industry and broadly understood hospitality was bold. One of the key decisions was to focus on individuality, design, art, locality and unique experience. It required courage, but it paid off – today we stand out from the others. We are diverse and cosmopolitan. We are Stradom House.

Does luxury mean something other than a few years ago? How does its definition change and how does Stradom House interpret it?

Definitely. Luxury is not gold, marbles and silence today. It is freedom of choice, time, quality of relationships, authentic experiences. For us, luxury is the ability to surprise the guest with something that he does not expect – detail, gesture, art and history.

This is an invitation to a world that not only inspires, but also leaves a trace in memory. This is how I understand the modern luxury in the House Stradom edition – as an emotional value that creates a strong relationship with the guest.

From the perspective of the managing person, which is the most difficult for you, and what gives you the greatest satisfaction in running a place like Stradom House?

The most difficult? Maintaining balance between operational perfection and creative freedom. The greatest satisfaction? I have been associated with Stradom House from the very beginning, so I see how the hotel is carrying out a mission, which was recently an idea. The moments are also priceless when the guest says that staying with us was an unforgettable experience for him and returns to us at every possible opportunity. Then I know we are at home.

And finally, please finish the sentence: “Stradom house is much more than a hotel, it’s …”

… a living story about Krakow, emotions, style and the future of hospitality. This is a place that you remember – not only because it was beautiful, but because it moves deeply.
