Lake Bled is a small glacial lake located in the Julian Alps, which has become one of the most important tourist centers in Slovenia. Another important monument of the region is the castle in Bled, which has stood on a nearby cliff for over a thousand years, towering over the lake. In summer, Bled is one of the most pleasant swimming areas in the Alps, attracting those who want to relax by the water.
