The army sends out mobilization cards in peacetime. The document may be sent not only to reservists.

Mobilization cards are sent to persons with defense obligations and are intended to indicate their assignment in the event of mobilization or war. Documents sent by military recruitment centers are received not only by reserve soldiers, but also by people performing professions important for the functioning of the state.

The mobilization card specifies the place to report to in the event of a declaration of mobilization or a war threat. That is why these documents are sent already in peacetime, so that those responsible for defense know their tasks and where to appear.

Mobilization card. What do the colors of the stripes mean?

Depending on the type of assignment and the method of calling, different types of mobilization cards are used. Their purpose is indicated by the color of the bar on the document.

The card with a red stripe is intended for a reserve soldier who is obliged to report for active military service in the event of mobilization or during war.

The card with a green stripe applies to a reserve soldier called up to active military service by means of a call-up card or by announcement.

The card with a blue stripe is intended for employees of the Ministry of National Defense and other persons who are not employees of this ministry.

Who can receive a mobilization card?

The mobilization card goes to people who, in the event of mobilization or war, may be directed to carry out tasks related to state defense.

First of all, these are people belonging to the military reserve with appropriate military training and competences. The document can also be obtained by specialists performing professions important for the functioning of the state.

Mobilization card not only for reservists

The group of people who can receive a mobilization card also includes specialists in health care, logistics, IT and communication systems. The document may also be sent to representatives of uniformed services and people with experience in public institutions.

Assignments may also include selected civilian employees intended to perform tasks supporting the functioning of the state, including in administration, the energy sector or transport. Receiving a mobilization card means that a person has been included in the allocation system in the event of mobilization or war.
