The mayor asked for the dogs to be shot. Łukasz Litewka intervenes

Wolbórz in Piotrków County cannot cope with stray dogs. Disgusted by this case, MP Łukasz Litewka criticized the mayor and offered help.
MP Łukasz Litewka used social media to inform about a problem with dogs in the town of Wolbórz in the Łódź Voivodeship. According to reports, the local mayor sees no other solution than culling these animals.
Wolbórz. The mayor wants to kill stray dogs
A Lithuanian woman from the New Left began her description of the situation by recalling recent high-profile events in our country in which people did not show empathy towards animals. “If not a horse in the wash, a priest kicking Reksio, then now: The city of Wolbórz has a problem with dogs… apparently four,” he wrote.
“The problem is so serious that the city mayor asked the voivode for permission to shoot the dogs, which he called a pack. Mr. Mayor! It’s not the wolves, it’s just your incompetence in catching these animals. As usual, shortcuts are taken in Poland,” Litewka said.
MP Litewka: The commune is obliged to transfer the dogs to the shelter
The politician reminded that the commune is obliged to catch dogs and take them to a shelter. “2025, Mayor, I want to shoot some dogs that are roaming around the city. I cannot look at the incompetence of the authorities in such simple matters. If someone is bigger than a stray dog, how can they run the city?” – he asked.
“My foundation was created so that people and animals do not have to suffer, especially because of other people’s stupidity. Today I called the Wolborz office and told them what I thought about their practices,” Litewka continued.
The Left MP wants to help the mayor
The politician did not stop at just scolding. He decided to offer help. “I declare that our foundation will financially support the entity that decides to catch these dangerous monsters. Anyone who would like to contribute can do so here. I will not create a separate collection for such a trivial problem!” – he concluded, writing the last three words in capital letters.
