Before the Sunday final of the Polish Cup Tauron, it was known that the Polish champions had a heavy backpack with luggage of unpleasant experiences related to this competition. JSW Jastrzębski Węgiel lost five finals in a row, and he has been waiting for success in the game about PP since 2010. So – for such a class band – a large piece of time.

After a Saturday win over Bogdanka Luk Lublin in three sets, where even the famous Wilfredo Leon did not help losers, it was known that Polish champions seriously wanted to get a valuable trophy. The exception was 2024, when Jastrzębski Węgiel lost to Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie. The Jurassic knights burst into the finals – and how – in the Tauron Arena in Krakow and played JSW in four sets.

As it turned out, a year later there was a sweet rematch on the part of Polish champions. Although the hawks began the match with the losing the first set, relatively smooth, because 18:25. But the Frenchman could use it. It is no accident that Carle was the best scoring player on the winners’ side. Hastrzębień could breathe, after finally they found a way for the second largest gameplay in Poland.

If you look for a breakthrough moment, it’s very important – it’s the third set. A game equal to both sides, a change on the scoreboard, where it really weighed who would have this minimum, but very important advantage of 2: 1 in the context of the whole clash. Finally, they dragged the set to their side, and eventually also the match, those who wanted to win the Polish Cup after 15 years. And they achieved it.

It should be emphasized, however, that the Jurassic knights, even being in the reverse in the fourth set, managed to level at 23:23 at the finish. It also boiled strongly, when the exchange of video verification for video verification began – after one of the longest meetings of the meeting.
