Activists from the last generation on Friday, September 26, announced the occupation of the Sejm. In this way, they want to ensure that the marshal addresses their law to the appropriate committee.
On Wednesday, September 24, in the legislative initiative mode, the left submitted a draft change in the Law to the Sejm Marshal, prepared by the last generation. Activists emphasize that this is a “breakthrough” of their activity that has been lasting for over 1.5 years.

In a nutshell, the bill contains provisions that are to transfer funds from the expansion of motorways to rail and buses and introduce a joint ticket for regional connections for PLN 50 per month. “Submission of a law in the Sejm, which implies the Chamber’s obligation to consider it, is a historical moment for both this civic movement disobedience, but also for counteracting climate change and the struggle for social justice in Poland,” we read further.
