The largest mountain SPA in the Czech Republic. Only 15 kilometers from the Polish border
Poles have been waiting for this attraction for years. It is the largest mountain wellness center and water park in the Czech Republic.
An interesting opportunity arose for a short, one-day trip to the Czech Republic. A unique mountain SPA has been opened in the Sudetes, in the Dolní Morava commune. The largest facility of this type in the country has been operating for over a month, also welcoming guests from Poland. The water park is located only twenty minutes by car from the Polish border. The offer includes, among others: indoor pools with massage benches and a year-round outflow pool. There were also saunas, slides and a wide range of treatments.
A mountain SPA has been opened in the Czech Republic
From January 31, 2026, guests can use the new mountain SPA in the Czech Republic. Tourists from Poland can reach the swimming pools in just 20 minutes by car from the Boboszów-Dolní Lipka border crossing. The Melori water park opened its gates almost 2.5 years after the start of construction, becoming the largest facility of this type in the country of our southern neighbors (7.5 thousand square meters). The construction cost CZK 1 billion. “The facility is one of the most important milestones in the history of the resort and the entire Dolní Morava destination,” says Czech Tourism.
No more seasonal fluctuations
The new water park is intended to be a solution to fewer tourists outside the winter and summer seasons. This is facilitated by the convenient border location, which allows to attract tourists from Lower Silesia, who will be closer to the Czech Republic than to Wrocław. Getting there by car from Bystrzyca Kłodzka will take less than an hour.
The sauna and swimming pool areas can accommodate a total of 400 people. The water park is intended for both tourists staying overnight in the Dolní Morava resort (guests of Vista apartments will have access to the swimming pool area included in the price of their stay) and visitors from outside. “Guests have at their disposal a recreational swimming pool with massage elements, an outdoor outflow pool with a panoramic view, an original children’s Spray Park with a paddling pool and three slides with a total length of over 90 meters. There will also be a heated relaxation zone with a view of the mountains,” we read on the attraction’s website.
