Ryanair ends with traditional on -board cards and no longer intends to translate this change for later. Tourists will forget about the well -known fees, and the printed ticket will do nothing.

It was already a year ago that the revolution is coming in Ryanair’s on -board cards. Although the deadline for implementing the changes was a bit delayed, this does not mean that they will not come. The carrier has already given the date. It will be like that this year.

Serious changes in Ryanair

The Irish airline announced that on November 3, 2025, he officially farewell to showing traditional paper on -board cards by passengers. Until now, many tourists not delaying modern and electronic solutions have printed their tickets, unfortunately, only every time only online check -in will be accepted by the application. Ryanair declares that his employees will help to use applications to people who do not know these types of solutions – in this group there may usually be older people.

With the end of respecting paper on -board cards, a service that many travelers hated. It’s about printing cards at the airport that was paid. As much as 20 euros, or about PLN 85, paid for one printout.

At the moment it is known that the change will not come into force everywhere at the same time. Tourists in Morocco, Albania and in Turkish Bodrum will wait a little longer for this solution.

The change is to help travelers

Although it can be assumed that the digital revolution will not appeal to everyone, according to Ryanair, most people will benefit from it. The changes are introduced primarily to speed up Boarding and forcing travelers a larger discipline. In addition, ecology is involved – a new solution will reduce paper consumption by up to 300 tons per year.

However, there is one hook. In the minds of many people, the question may arise, what if the battery on the phone is unloaded before departure or if we lose our device. It turns out that then Ryanair will help and print a card for us. What’s more, he will do it free of charge. The condition is, however, that we had to have an online briefing already made before. Otherwise, the cost of formalities will be up to 55 euros, or approx. 234 PLN – Other rates may apply in other countries.

It is assumed that such situations are to be unique, the more that the line notes that most passengers always use cards in digital version.
