A warning for all daredevils may be the last unfortunate accident in Italy. A 23-year-old tourist from Sicily died after hitting his head against the rock in Polignano and Mare in Apulia.
Tragedy on vacation in Italy
According to the Italian media, on Sunday, August 17 in Polignano and Mare in Apulia there was a tragedy with the participation of a 23-year-old tourist from Italy. The young man was to jump from one of the rock shelves on the Lama Munich cliff, and then immediately lost consciousness. The Italian hit his head with an invisible rock immersed in water at first glance. The injury turned out to be so serious that it was not helped by the quick transport of the victim to the hospital in the monopolis. Despite the attempt to resuscitate, the patient died.
The city authorities quickly commented on a tragic accident. “Let this be a reflection for all young people: life is a fragile gift and it is enough to change them forever. You must be more aware, cautious, have more respect for yourself and your life,” said Anna de Donato, chairwoman of the City Council Polignano and Mare through social media.
