The injured leader of the Polish national team spoke. What will Nikola Grbić do?

Unfortunately, on Thursday afternoon, disturbing news from the Polish Volleyball Federation came.
“In connection with the left thigh pain, reported by Norbert Huber, the middle representation of the Polish woman will be subjected to tests that will be carried out on Friday. Therefore, Mateusz Poręba will return to Zakopane for the last three days of the grouping,” reads PZPS.
However, it turns out that in the case of Huber, it may not be as bad as it seems.
– A few days break and I should go back to training – said Norbert Huber to the journalist of TVP Sport Sara Kalisz.
Let us add that coach Grbić cannot benefit from, among others from Aleksander Śliwka (injury) or resting this season: Marcin Janusz, Mateusz Bieńek and Łukasz Kaczmarek. Captain Bartosz Kurek also returned to training with the team after a break caused by an injury.
When is the Polish volleyball team play another match?
The team that won the Olympic runner-up in Paris in 2024 has another important challenge ahead of them-namely the World Championships in the Philippines (September 12-28). However, before the Poles start fighting to regain the name of the best team in the world (earlier gold in 2014 and 2018, in 2022 silver for Poland), a national team led by coach Nikola Grbcia, interesting social matches await.
Looking at the team schedule, the horizon is: Memorial of Hubert Wagner in Krakow (29-31 August) and a sparring clash with Brazil (September 4) in Atlas Arena in Łódź. In the Tauron Arena in Krakow, during memorial emotions, Poles will face: with Serbia (Friday, 29.08), Brazil (Saturday, 30.08) and Argentina (Sunday, 31.08).
Poles will play the first match at the World Championships on September 13. Romania will be the rival. In group competitions, Poland is still waiting for matches with Qatar (15.09) and the Netherlands (17.09).
