The iconic amusement park opens its season. He has prepared a new attraction

The iconic Legoland amusement park is about to open its season. There is a new attraction waiting for guests, and the prices of flights for the May weekend start from PLN 203 in both directions.

Legoland is undoubtedly one of Denmark’s most popular attractions. The large Lego town was easily accessible to Poles thanks to the Ryanair base in Billund. However, at the end of March last year, Irish airlines decided to close it due to the increase in fees.

Legoland returns on March 28

Following the closure of the Billund base in spring 2025, the entire Central Jutland region has seen significantly reduced tourist numbers. However, Legoland still remains an easily accessible destination for traveling with friends and family, thanks to Wizz Air connections from Gdańsk and Katowice and PLL LOT from Warsaw.

On March 28, Legoland Park in Billund will open its season for the 58th time, traditionally accompanied by music. At 9.15 a.m., the new attraction, built from 2025, will be the first to open there. It is Minifigure Speedway, a rollercoaster in the Lego style. Two vehicles with children and adults will race against each other on a 263-meter-long and over 16-meter-high track.

Attractions in the amusement park

The new lands also include Polar Land with polar bears made of blocks. A great attraction is the Polar X-plorer train ride, which provides thrills when it falls into an ice crevice or “free falls” from a height of five meters with a maximum speed of 65 km/h.

Last year, guests were attracted by new buildings in the iconic Miniland – a park of miniatures made of LEGO bricks, with reproductions of famous buildings such as the White House and the Acropolis. There is also a small airport where planes taxi. Last year, Denmark’s second largest city, Aarhus in miniature, aroused interest.

Legoland Billund is open from March 28, 2026 to November 1, 2026, depending on the month, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m., and in July until 8:00 p.m. A one-day ticket for adults is cheaper when purchased online (349 CZK, approx. PLN 200), children under 2 years old will have fun for free.

What else to visit in Jutland?

The amusement park’s website has recently been launched in Polish: legolandbillundresort.com. It invites tourists to plan longer stays and get to know the surroundings during their visit. The towns of Billund, Vejle, Fredericia and Kolding form a holiday region in the heart of southern Jutland. It is a delightful nature, peaceful and picturesque land, with a hilly landscape dotted with fjords and sandy beaches.
