The holiday resort will grow between two lakes. It is only 45 km from the Polish border
In 2026, Poland will gain a gigantic hotel by the sea, at this time other countries are not sleeping and are also planning unique investments. Another hit is coming.
Hotel Gołębiewski in Pobierowo may not be the only new huge resort worth your attention. Another exclusive hit will soon be created, but this time beyond our western border. Polish residents will be close to it, and the surrounding area will delight with its views.
A new holiday resort will be built here
Ambitious plans of the French company “Groupe Pierre & Vacances-Center Parcs” will result in the creation of an impressive tourist complex in Germany, and more precisely on the border of Saxony and Brandenburg. Its aim is to provide entertainment to all those who love peace and luxury and to strengthen the position of a given region on the market.
The plan is to build the site near two flooded open-pit mine workings – between Lake Partwitz and Lake Sedlitz. It is a picturesque place in the eastern part of the country in the Lusatian Lake District. Up to EUR 300 million is to be allocated for investments. The company responsible for the project has already conducted preliminary orientation talks. A suitable plot of land was also secured.
The resort is located close to Poland
Information about these plans should be of interest to Poles, because the place will be built less than 50 km from our border – the closest one is around Łęknica/Bad Muskau. The journey by car can take less than an hour. However, you need to be patient, because the project is currently at an early stage.
The new resort will provide tourists with 700 apartments in a giant hotel, access to sandy beaches, lakes and a large network of bicycle paths. There will be swimming pools, restaurants and bars and modern amenities.
The area around the Lusatian Lake District already attracts guests, but thanks to the new investment there will be even more of them.
“A year-round tourism offer can extend the tourist season, create additional jobs, strengthen regional economic activity and give new impetus to local tour operators.” – commented the Starosta of the Oberspreewald-Lausitz district, Alexander Erbert.
