The Germans cannot praise the Pole enough. “He is our best player.”

Jakub Kamiński

After 9 rounds of the German Bundesliga, FC Köln is the sensation of the competition. Much of this is due to Jakub Kamiński, the winger of the Polish national team.

We wrote at the beginning of October this year that the former Lech Poznań player is in great shape. Jakub Kamiński revived after moving from VfL Wolfsburg to FC Köln. In Cologne, the Polish footballer shows his full potential.

Bundesliga: Goal and assist by Jakub Kamiński. The Pole is the star of FC Köln

The Polish representative had another great performance on Sunday. FC Köln’s rival was Hamburger SV. This time, the team from Cologne gave a lot of joy to their fans, winning 4:1. “Kamyk” scored a goal and an assist against HSV, being one of the most important figures on the pitch.

The coach of the Bundesliga sensation couldn’t praise the Pole enough.

– Kuba Kamiński is our best player. He can play on the left wing and on the left swing, but also on the right wing and on the right swing. He is extremely versatile, and also modest, willing to learn and decisive for our game, said FC Köln coach Lukas Kwasniok, quoted by journalist Marcin Borzęcki.

Thanks to his performance against HSV, Kamiński was in the “eleventh round” of the prestigious and most important football place in Germany, i.e. “Kicker”, for the second time in the 2025/26 season. FC Köln is in a high, seventh position in the Bundesliga table, being one step away from entering the zone guaranteeing participation in European cups. However, only the 9th round is behind him, and the newcomer from Cologne will probably want to ensure that he remains in the German elite.

However, Kamiński is working hard to ensure that FC Köln decides to buy the Pole from VfL Wolfsburg. In the colors of Wolves, the Polish winger has not looked the same in the last dozen or so months as he does now – during such a valuable loan.

Jan Urban can also praise Kamiński’s form. The coach of the Polish national team will probably not turn up his nose at further positive news related to the performances of the national team – especially in such strong leagues as the Bundesliga.
