The first words of Jan Urban as a national team coach: We will not talk about any revolution

Jan Urban did not want to criticize his predecessors, he did not announce a radical change, nor did he promise the offensive game. – The task of every coach is to extract as much as possible from the unit, which will cause the team to play much better. The analysis of how our team will play is not always adequate to the potential – he pointed out.

Urban also emphasized several times that the problem is not playing representatives. – I was a professional footballer and you will not fool the body if you did not play two months and think you trained two months. Yes, you are physically ready, but in the same optimal form you will not, because you have not played for a long time – he explained. He admitted that sometimes it is worth betting on a worse footballer, but in the match rhythm.

– A lot of small decisions await us. We will not talk about any revolution. I do not recognize something like the reconstruction of the national team, because it is a natural process – he admitted. – Today I will say that we can expect changes in the national team, but I do not want to make a change for change – he added.
