The first goal of the Ekstraklasa season is here! Here’s the league’s welcome shot

However, before the Swiss scored, both teams had at least several opportunities to enjoy their first goal in the 2026/27 season. What’s more, the visitors even scored!

Ultimately, however, one of Wiesta Kraków’s players was in an offside position during the scoring action. The referee received information from the VAR car from the referees responsible for this part of the work and rightly the score returned to 0-0.

Here is the first goal in the PKO BP Ekstraklasa. The 2026/27 season has officially started!

In the 29th minute, the goal was disallowed, but 14 minutes later – everything was as it should be. It turned out that the Swiss Roberto Alves came up with an idea to overcome the visitors’ defense. The assist was provided by the invaluable Jan Grzesik, who added his first goal in the new season in the second half of the game.

Coming back to Alves’ goal, it was a very effective ending to Radomiak’s nice action. The team from Radom, at least it seems so, will again be able to take away important points from the favorites. And aspire to be a solid league player himself.

What about Perpetual? The Krakow team has just started their debut at the top league level. It is no secret that it is a newcomer – but only in name – with truly impressive budget possibilities, considering the Polish reality. At least this can be concluded based on the transfer movements and the capital available to the owner, i.e. Wojciech Kwiecień.

The team is led by coach Kazimierz Moskal, who has bittersweet associations with playing in the national elite. As a football player, he was able to be at the top many times, for example in the colors of Wisła Kraków. Now he will try with another Krakow club to get a positive taste of something new, in the realities of Wieczysta. Moskal can only be wished… patience on the part of the owner, because it seems that the Wieczyczna players may have a lot of interesting things to offer in the top league.
