Unfortunately, the sports holiday was slightly overshadowed by fights between the hooligans of both bands. Fighting fought, among others near the Wrocław Market Square and Solny Square. Witnesses talked about a regular battle using chairs, tables and bottles. The police had to fight, but she was there and reacted quickly.

“Today in the Wrocław market police officers intervened in connection with the incident that probably occurred between the supporters of visitors, which as part of the conference league finals are to play the match tomorrow,” said in a message.

“The uniforms reacted immediately after this incident, which resulted in the fact that there was no further escalation of the conflict and negative behavior,” the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław informed.

The number of police preventive and operational forces and their saturation is so high in places where residents and sports fans are gathering or moved that everyone can feel safe” – noted in the communiqué.

“Please immediately notify about each event that is near the police or city guard of Wrocław, or call at emergency number 112. We are at your disposal and our priority is to ensure security,” the police asked.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk also published his own statement. “Zero tolerance for violence on our streets! Thank you to the police for firm actions against hooligans in Chelsea and Betisu T -shirts in Wrocław. We warn you: If it is necessary, the police will be even more ruthless today!” He announced.
