The expert assessed Stanowski’s behavior. “The Hopelessness of the Situation”

Krzysztof Stanowski

Krzysztof Stanowski’s decision to run for president has been loud for several days. His gestures give much food for thought.

After Krzysztof Stanowski left Kanał Sportowy and founded his own Kanał Zero, he began to arouse huge media interest, which he also fueled by the decisions he made. The journalist is not afraid of controversial interviews, as evidenced by his conversation with the murderer. A few days ago, the 42-year-old announced his candidacy for president. Now an expert has assessed his behavior.

Krzysztof Stanowski’s behavior

On Tuesday, January 21, Krzysztof Stanowski published a speech on Channel Zero in which he announced that he would run for president. His speech was watched by public speaking trainer Anna Kulma. In an interview with “Plotek”, the expert first of all stated that it was “a parody of Wojciech Jaruzelski’s speech, which was intended to show the hopelessness of the situation.”

– According to Stanowski, there is no good candidate for president. Jaruzelski’s parody was easy to spot, due to the general’s voice at times and his hands being theatrically spread and raised up. The voice was also raised, but at the same time we received a series of sentences intoned in the same way, so we quickly realized that it was a practiced form – emphasized the body language specialist.

Anna Kulma assessed that the journalist used a prompter because he hardly blinked. At one point she also noticed his uncertainty. – When he started to move beyond parody and into presenting himself, he stepped back a bit. This seemed to be the only moment when we could see a sign of uncertainty – but perhaps he saw the weight of the challenge, she said.

The public speaking trainer noticed that Stanowski relaxed when he asked for support. – His gesture of inviting people to cooperate (spreading his hands) was natural, and his facial expression indicated a sincere invitation to support the candidacy – she said, also emphasizing the language used by the journalist. – What caught my attention was the linguistic hypercorrectness of “chcĘ” with a clear accentuation of the vowel “ę”. Such emphasis is a mistake, but it was probably intended to emphasize the seriousness and diligence in preparing the candidate – she added.
