The escalation of the conflict will translate into fuel prices. Drivers will feel the changes on the long weekend?

The sudden increase in oil prices after Israel’s attack on Iran will be likely to translate into an increase in fuel prices in Poland – they predict e-petrol.pl analysts. However, this will not happen immediately.
– The sudden increase in oil prices after Israel’s attack on Iran will be likely to translate into an increase in fuel prices in Poland. Although this change will not occur immediately, drivers should prepare for higher refueling costs in the coming days -E-Petrol.pl analysts forecast Gabriela Kozan and dr Jakub Bogucki.
Experts indicate that the last weeks could have been hoping that fuel prices at stations will persist in the current level, while events at the international market have meant that refineries in Poland will have to react and the increase in fuel prices is a matter of time.
Over the past week, refineries have changed fuel prices five times, but the high dynamics of price changes in wholesale sales did not translate on their scale. Gasoline, compared to the tip of the previous week, increased by just over PLN 30 per 1000 liters, and diesel by an average of PLN 65 per 1000 liters. The increases that were observed at the end of the last week-as Ekseprci E-Petro.pl emphasizes-they were not large and fitted into a typical summer scenario, when the diesel oil exceeded the unleaded gasoline 95. At the end of last week, the average price of 1000 liters of popular “95” was PLN 4508.08, and diesel-4560.60 PLN. As a result, you can see the growing difference between the prices of basic drive fuels.
Analysts point out that the escalation of the conflict on the Israel – Iran line has already translated into oil and fuels ready on international stock exchanges on Friday morning, and this means that wholesale fuel prices in Poland will increase more than that of retail prices depend more than expected.
At the end of the previous week, a liter of “95” cost an average of PLN 5.69/l. The same amount had to be paid for a liter of diesel. In turn, a liter of LPG cost PLN 2.79.
Fuel prices on a long weekend
How many drivers will they pay at the stations this week? Experts e-petrol.pl donated not very optimistic forecasts before the long weekend. In their opinion, there is no longer a field for price reductions at gas stations and in the standard scenario prices should rather stabilize. Events in the Middle East – if the situation is escaped there – but they can increase the scale of increases.
Analysts predict that for a liter of “95” we will pay this week from 5.69 to 5.81 PLN. Price fluctuations can also be visible in the case of diesel. In the coming days, the diesel price should be between PLN 5.70 and PLN 5.81 per liter. In turn, car users with gas installation, who have been observing small but systematic LPG discounts for several weeks, will still be their witnesses. In this case, this trend should persist-the calculations of e-petrol.pl show that this week a liter of LPG at stations may cost PLN 2.75-2.82.
