PIT tax returns for 2024 must be submitted by April 30.

How to account for PIT Online?

e-pit is a faster tax refund

Like last year, tax returns quickly go to taxpayers who settled with the Tax Office electronically and used the Twój e-PiT service.

“In the case of paper settlements, the maximum date of waiting for a refund is 3 months. For electronic settlements, it is 45 days after submitting the declaration,” informs the Ministry of Finance. It also indicates that in practice, thanks to automation, returns from most PIT-37 testimonies submitted to the Your E-PIT service go to the account much faster.

“It happens that the taxpayer gets a refund up to 1 day after submitting the declaration. Until now, the average PIT return time was 11 days,” we read on the ministry’s website.
