The end of May at gas stations. Drivers have reasons to fear?
The ending month was quite successful for refueling. First May promotions, and then lack of fuel price increases at stations. What awaits drivers in the coming week?
Analysts E-Tetrol.pl Gabriela Kozan and Grzegorz Maziak presented forecasts regarding fuel prices next week. In their opinion, there should be relative price stabilization last week of May. In wholesale sales, very small corrections are possible, therefore at the stations the costs of refueling both gas and diesel should not surprise drivers.
– Domestic producers, following the price changes on the London Stock Exchange, corrected prices for their products five times during the week. As a consequence, today 1000 liters of popular unleaded gasoline 95 costs PLN 4,482 net, over PLN 30 less than a week ago. In the case of diesel prices, Polish manufacturers have introduced slightly larger discounts – over the week, the average wholesale oil price has dropped by over PLN 52 per 1000 li today is PLN 4477. From Saturday, May 24, Orlen and Saudi Aramco will probably introduce new wholesale price lists, but the scale of changes should not affect the price lists of the gas station -emphasize e-petrol.pl experts.
Analysts point out that we have been observing the equalization of basic fuel prices for some time. Currently, the difference between 95 gasoline and diesel in refineries is only PLN 5. The closure of prices can also be seen at gas stations.

The ending month was quite successful for refueling. Initially, drivers could benefit from picnic promotions and later, thanks to price reductions in the fuel refineries, they did not use. As a result, refueling costs are currently a few pennies lower than at the beginning of the month.
In the list of retail prices realized by e-petrol.pl, the prices of both gasoline remained in the middle of the week. The popular “95” cost PLN 5.73/l. The diesel made five groszy and cost 5.74 PLN/l, and the three -gray decrease concerned LPG prices – the price of a liter of autogas was 2.91 PLN/l. Experts note that the maintenance of prices and decreases in recent days at gas stations is the result of price correction in refineries and a decrease in retail margins by station operators.
What prices will they see tankers at the stations in the coming week? E–Petrol.pl analysts shows that the “95” price will be in the range from 5.69 to 5.81 PLN/l. In the case of diesel oil, the forecast compartment ranges from 5.70 to 5.81 PLN/l. In turn, car owners on LPG in the coming days will pay for this type of fuel from 2.84 to 2.91 PLN/l.
