The drone crashed in the waiting room at the airport. This is a close resort
Anxiety was experienced by people relaxing near the known resort on the Red Sea. A drone fell in a nearby airport. It was not injured.
The situation occurred last Sunday, September 7. On this day, the Israeli army announced that the drone fired from Yemen went to Ramon airport near the resort of Ejlat on the Red Sea. The army conducted an investigation in this matter, while the port’s work was suspended for a few hours. Currently, everything works flawlessly.
The drone hit places for passengers
The point at which the drone was to hit was the so -called waiting room for travelers. The reports of the service show that two people were injured with the machine’s shards: a 63-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman. As the aforementioned Ramon port usually serves domestic connections, no information appeared so that tourists from Poland should be located on the spot.
The port where the drone collapsed lies near the holiday resort of Ejlat on the border with Jordan and Egypt. I am talking about a city in Israel, lying at the southern end of the country. This is an important place in terms of tourism and industry. Tourists offer many attractions, such as diving in a rich coral reef of Ejlat, visiting the Red Canyon or Timna Park. Currently, Poles are reborn, however, traveling to the place.
Threat to tourists in Israel
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is reborn traveling to Israel because of the war situation in the Middle East. In turn, everyone who plans to fly there, among others To Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, he must register his arrival and obtain electronic consent to ETA-IT (Electronic Travel Authorization) entry.
The past situation at the aviator shows that even near popular tourist places can be dangerous. Before the drone collapsed in Ramon, the Israeli air force informed about the capture of three other drons from Yemen. Two of them were taken over before they appeared in the Israeli airspace. Huti rebels, supported by Iran, regularly attack goals in Israel from Yemen.
