Throughout the night, rescuers were looking for a tourist who was missing in the Tatra Mountains. Unfortunately, their finale turned out to be tragic.
Rescuers from Tuesday were intensively looking for a tourist who did not return from the trip to the Tatra Mountains on Tuesday. On Wednesday morning, a helicopter was included in the action, which started from the base in Zakopane. The search area included Kasprowy Wierch and Czerwone Wierchy.
The communication on the disappearance of a man was published by the Zakopane police. A 44-year-old resident of the Bochnia poviat was to return home from the same day.
Unfortunately, the final of the search action turned out to be tragic. PAP informs that on Wednesday around 12:00 TOPR rescuers noticed a body that corresponded to the description of the missing person on the Slovak side of the intermediate breeze of Wierch. It will be transported down by Slovak lifeguards from Horska Zachranna service.
Search in the Tatra Mountains

Action of rescuers on intermediate Turnia
At the beginning of January, 21 TOPR rescuers took part in the operation of saving a father with an eight -year -old child, whom they defeated the conditions in the mountains. The tourist appealed for help by the rescue application, because it was impossible to continue the trip because of the hurricane wind and dense fog. “Already an hour after the notification, the first rescuer on duty at Kasprowy Wierch arrived, who found a tourist with a child on the western intermediate ridge of Turnia,” TOPR informed. The action was successful.
