The deceived fruit farmer had to sell 11 tons of plums. Internet users moved with help
The fruit -orchard from Lower Silesia found himself in a difficult situation when the customer did not receive 11 tons of ordered goods. Fortunately, people from all over Poland came to the rescue.
Hungary in Lower Silesia has been visited in recent hours by a large group of plum fans. All thanks to the actions in social media related to Mr. Damian. A friend of the local fruit -growing man was publicized by his difficult location and encouraged Internet users to help.

An unknown customer exposed Mr. Damian to 36,000 zlotys loss. The man not only had 11 tons of plums for sale. He also collected fruit and prepared it for shipping, putting a lot of work into it. – I don’t know why plum was not received. We prepared this product for two days – he emphasized.
It is not known what would happen to the fruit if it wasn’t for the fruit -growing friend. – says: Damian, are we doing action? Well, I say: we are doing! – said an pleasant farmer. The action was publicized by a Facebook post. It was informed that plums were waiting for pickup, and everyone could take any amount and pay “every grace”. People in need could take fruit even for free.
They sold 11 tons of plums in a few hours
Within a few hours, Mr. Damian’s phone rang, and people from all over Poland began to come to Węgrzynów. There were guests even from Poznań, Tarnogóra, Strzegom. They covered 200 kilometers to help the deceived fried.
– On Facebook, someone wrote about the fact that there is a problem that a host can be a lot of money in the back, and that we are working right next to it, we decided to go. This surprised me that the social media have so much power that even less than 24 hours has passed and plums are gone – commented Patryk, Dominika’s neighbor.
– I never expected that 11 tons of plum can be sold – 11,000 kilos in a few hours. At the end I looked around where to get these plums so that nobody would leave empty -handed – emphasized the owner of the orchard.
– To collect such a amount of plums in two days, people and thousands of zlotys are needed. If it was wasted, it would be a huge loss – he emphasized in an interview with tvn24.pl.
