The new regulation gives farmers an additional two months to implement the investment, i.e. until June 1, 2026. The regulations are to enter into force the day after the announcement, so the new rules will apply almost immediately. The change is intended to help approximately 5.1 thousand people. farmers who signed contracts with the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture and may not have completed the work by the end of March.
The Ministry emphasizes that maintaining the new deadline is necessary in order not to lose funding from the KPO. The program allows you to obtain up to 100%. refund, but only after meeting certain conditions.

A natural person who is subject to farmers’ social insurance under the Act as a farmer and who was granted direct payments in the year preceding or in the year of submitting the application may apply for support.

Aid is available to adult farmers who meet all the requirements. You must be the owner or co-owner of the building where the roof will be replaced. It is also necessary to have an identification number assigned in accordance with the provisions on the national system for registering producers, registering farms and registering payment applications.
The Ministry of Development also announces the simplification of regulations regarding asbestos removal. The changes will concern reporting the presence of this material to the office and the possibility of permanently securing products containing asbestos. Users of such products will be able to submit a declaration once and update it only when changes occur.

Since January 1, 2005, the use, production and marketing of all forms of asbestos has been completely banned throughout the European Union. Poland has developed a plan to remove this material, and the National Asbestos Cleanup Program assumes completion of this process by the end of 2032.

The Chief Sanitary Inspectorate reminds that this material was used, among others, for the production of asbestos-cement boards and is hazardous to health.
