The vice-chairman of the Śródmieście District Council, Piotr Salach, did not intend to wait for confirmation of these reports and immediately invited the billionaire to Warsaw.

“In my invitation, I offered Elon Musk a tour of our district and a presentation of its unique values. I would like to show him not only the beauty of Śródmieście, but also its investment potential and the unique combination of the past and the future,” he wrote in a statement.

In his opinion, Musk’s appearance in the capital could inspire young people who are passionate about technology and innovation.
“Śródmieście, which is the heart of Warsaw, is a place open to people from all over the world and a dynamically developing space. I hope that my proposal to meet Elon Musk will contribute to even greater interest in Warsaw as a city of the future and a place worth investing in, argued Salach.

Głogówek is also trying to attract Musk

This is not the first Polish local government official to directly appeal to Elon Musk. A week ago, the mayor of Głogówek invited the billionaire to Poland and offered him the purchase of a local castle. This is how he reacted to Musk’s declared intention to purchase a castle in Europe.

The TV station reminds that in 2005 the castle was owned by a private investor, but about eight years later it became the property of the commune again. In the past, during World War II, the building was inhabited by German families.

The mayor of Głogówek admitted on Facebook that the offer was “bravura”. According to the politician, the castle in Upper Silesia is a “better location” than Italy. “The emails have already gone. It’s always worth trying,” said the city mayor.
