The coach of the Polish national handball team has health problems. Coach Arne Senstad ended up in hospital and will not lead his team.
Information about the health of the Norwegian coach of Polish handball players appeared on Tuesday (April 7) morning.
“The coach of the Polish national team, Arne Senstad, was hospitalized before his planned arrival in Poland. After a few days of observation, he was discharged and is now recovering fully at home. His condition is not serious, but requires further consultations, which excluded his participation in the initial phase of the training camp, as well as in leading the team during Wednesday’s match in Slovakia. As the coach himself emphasizes, he remains in constant contact with the training staff of the Polish national team and hopes to return to work with our team before Sunday’s match against Romania in Radom,” the federation announced.
Additionally, it was announced that the Polish team in the match against Slovakia would be coached by Senstad’s assistant, Adrian Struzik.
