The City of Polish Olympic Champions is entering the decisive phase of implementation. The “Paris” district – the first part of PROFBUD’s flagship investment – has obtained full construction permit, opening the way to the construction of over 2,200 apartments and extensive sports infrastructure.

PROFBUD’s flagship investment – the City of Polish Olympic Champions – is entering a key stage of implementation. The developer obtained a valid building permit for the entire “Paris” district, including eight buildings, over 2,200 apartments and nearly 27,000 sq m. m² of service space. The project is being built near Warsaw’s Ursynów, and its co-investor is Robert Lewandowski.

The key moment of investment

Obtaining full administrative authorization means the project moves from the preparatory phase to intensive implementation. As the investor’s representative emphasizes:

“The building permit is a key administrative act that authorizes us to carry out construction works covering the entire district of this ambitious project, which, in addition to residential buildings, assumes the presence of extensive sports infrastructure, as well as many symbolic places referring to the successes of Polish athletes. It also provides full protection under acquired rights, guaranteeing uninterrupted continuation of works. Previously, we had permission to build two buildings, therefore, thanks to the permit for the whole, “Paris” should soon be systematically and in accordance with with the announced schedule, take the target shape that we know from the design and visualization. At the same time, it is proof that the City of Polish Olympic Champions is a stable and predictable enterprise,” says Anna Wojdyga, Commercial Director at PROFBUD.

Sport as the foundation of urban planning

The investment concept goes beyond the standard model of residential development. The project, presented in 2024, has been built from the beginning around the idea of commemorating Polish sports champions and promoting an active lifestyle.

The “Paris” district – the first part of the complex – is to combine residential functions with a space conducive to integration and activity. The project includes numerous references to the Olympic ideas, including: Avenue of Polish Olympic Champions or the so-called “Olympic mile” – an almost two-kilometer recreational route of an educational nature.

Lifestyle inspired apartments

The investment includes buildings of various scales and standards. In the second stage, sales of which will start in 2025, a seven-story building with 278 apartments with areas ranging from 29 to 178 m² is planned. The top floors will feature penthouses with improved spatial parameters.

The aim of the project is to create an environment conducive to both everyday comfort and physical activity – through architecture, space layout and access to sports infrastructure.

Symbolism and real actions

The investment also has a symbolic dimension. Polish Olympic medalists have already received apartments in the “Paris” district, including: Aleksandra Mirosław, Julia Szeremeta, Klaudia Zwolińska and Daria Pikulik. Kacper Tomasiak also joined the group.

An investment of local importance

The scale of the project goes beyond just housing. PROFBUD is also involved in the development of public infrastructure in Mysiadlo (Lesznowola commune), financing, among others: water treatment plant, road system, community park and revitalization of the historic Villa Eisele.

The City of Polish Olympic Champions is an example of an investment in which urban planning, residential function and social narrative create a coherent model of contemporary space design – combining the commercial aspect with a long-term impact on the local community.
