“Warm sea, the weather is beautiful, delicious food, nice people, but prices from a different fairy tale.” Poles explain why the European country works for holidays even for people with a low budget.

Summer started for good, and do you abstain before leaving abroad for fear of high costs? Paying flights or a hotel is one thing, but there are also costs of food or attractions on site. Despite this, you can look for a good last minute offer, because currently the prices of such trips are falling. For some countries, even a trip on their own will be budget. Polish tourists prove this. In their opinion, one place is particularly inexpensive.

The cheapest country for holidays in Europe

Overnight with a sea view for 25 euros for the whole family, dinner for 5 euros per person and coffee for less than 2 euros. Such prices in the European resort could be found in June this year. Assuming that a lot has not changed since then, it can be safely stated that abroad can be relaxed cheaper than in Poland.

All this is only 1,400 km from Krakow, on the Ionian Sea in Albania. It was there that a couple of Poles went, who shares the report from their stay on the film placed on YouTube, on the “Orient Explorer” channel.

In the video we see, among others A cheap restaurant located next to the sea, as well as a flat of tourists – spacious, modern and comfortable – which cost the whole family about PLN 107 a day. There is also a kitchenette inside, so you can make breakfast or dinner yourself. Later, the couple proves that attractions are equally cheap, e.g. children for children for 2 euros, kayaks for around 15 euros, water motorbikes for 20 euros per day. Admission to the historic city of Butrint cost 10 euros.

Do you think cheap food in Albania has poor quality? The Poles went to the restaurant, ordering Musaka, stuffed peppers, beef with potato purée, bread and two glasses of wine. They paid less than 25 euros for everything, or about PLN 100. The pictures show that dishes look very appetizing. In the film we also see how much ordinary products cost in the store, including milk or bananas. According to tourists in supermarkets, prices are not amazingly low – they spent about 20 euros for their purchases.

“What definitely affects the competitiveness of this country towards others is primarily the prices of accommodation. We used the apartment, but you can also bet on a hotel with breakfast at the sea, for 40 euros” – explains the Polish woman.

It is worth remembering that in Albania we will pay in euros, especially in tourist places, hotels and restaurants, although the official currency is Albanian.

Poles are not uncritical

Poles already say that they understand people who prefer to avoid and see the disadvantages of this country.

“At the first shoreline is cool, beautiful eaters, everything well -groomed and you can fall in love, but just move away from the very center to make it get bad dirty and chaotically” – explains the Polish woman.

They notice that for some low prices, it may not be enough to opt for such a vacation. The couple indicates that our impressions will depend on the place we get to – the right to choose a hotel or city counts.

According to Poles, it is not profitable, among others Use ATMs – the commission is up to 8 euros. Parking is also problematic.

Poles also emphasize that although it is cheap now, it can change over time. As an example, they give rising prices for tourists in Turkey or Croatia. “Let’s enjoy Albania while you can spend time calmly,” comments the Pole.
