ZUS has launched a new eZUS system. The platform is intended to simplify the handling of matters online and reduce the need for office visits.

The previous PUE ZUS platform underwent a complete change and was replaced by new eZUS system. The Social Insurance Institution announced that the new payer account on the portal is now available to all customers. After logging in, users see a website with a more modern look, with simpler navigation and solutions that are intended to speed up the processing of matters without the need to visit the office.

The change has been announced for over two years. The old platform, operating since 2012, has gathered over 13.6 million users, but at the same time it has long been criticized for its complicated operation and unclear layout. These problems were supposed to make it difficult to use the website and deal with official matters online.

The new eZUS system is to be simpler and more transparent

From the end of March, entrepreneurs, i.e. contribution payers, can use a new account in eZUS. According to the Social Insurance Institution, the system has been designed to be more user-friendly. In practice, this means faster completion of formalities and less frequent need to appear in person at branches.

The new version was implemented in stages. ZUS explains that such a model allowed for ongoing monitoring of the system’s operation and introduction of corrections. The institution also ensures that the changes were based on user feedback, and tests and pilot testing were carried out before launch. The future users of the website were to be involved in the design process from the very beginning.

The new eZUS system organizes the most important matters in one place

One of the most important new features is the rebuilt home page. It is intended to provide quick access to the most important information, such as settlements, employee sick leaves, declarations and news. The user can see all these elements in one place, and the view itself can be adjusted to suit your needs.

New application creators are also expected to make things much easier. They guide you step by step through the entire process, show progress and inform you whether the document has been sent correctly. This will reduce the number of errors that previously often occurred when filling out forms.

The new eZUS system is to be further developed

Another new way of organizing matters is also new. They have been organized to resemble threads known from instant messaging. The user can check the status of the case and see the history of correspondence in one place. The message box has also been rebuilt, dividing it into more readable sections and grouping related information.

ZUS emphasizes that the current modernization does not end the changes. There are plans to further modernize accounts for individual users, doctors and bailiffs, as well as to develop the mZUS mobile application. All these solutions are intended to further simplify contact with the institution and further use of the platform.
