Croatia is one of the favorite holiday destinations of Polish tourists. Which beaches are worth choosing when planning a vacation in this country?
The list of the best beaches of Croatia was prepared by the Travelist magazine.
Kraljičina Plaža in Nin
You can fly to Zadar from many cities in Poland. Ok 15 km from him we will find the longest sandy beach in Croatia. “Sand like on the Baltic Sea, water like in the tropics, and the views of the Velebit Massif Typically Balkan. It is no wonder that the first Croatian king Tomislav was already resting here, and the beach was particularly liked by his spouse – hence the name of the queen beach” – we read. The American Travel Channel placed it on its list of the 100 most beautiful beaches in the world.
Even if you don’t come to Croatia by car, with a group of friends or with your family you will reach Nin by a taxi or a bus from Zadar.
Sakarun beach, Dugi Otok Island
Dugi Otok is a popular goal of trips by ship or ferry from Zadar (it flows about 20 minutes). You can here, among others Swim in a salty lake, admire impressive cliffs, as well as … feel like in the Caribbean. The 800-meter Sakarun beach is known in the northwestern part of this island. The pine grove provides a lot of shade for the greatest heat, and a few atmospheric bars create a Caribbean mood.
Beach beating in Medulin
One of the few sandy beaches on the Istria peninsula. It will appeal to families with children who cannot imagine rest without attractions. Everyone will find something for themselves – the kids are waiting for, among others Inflatable obstacle tracks, trampolines, playgrounds or animation programs, sports and floating equipment rentals are available, and numerous bars, pubs and stalls are tempted by. The water is shallow and the descent to it is gentle and safe.
Zatni Rat, Brač island
You could see this beach before you reached it. Due to its unique shape, it is on the covers of most catalogs advertising Croatia. Ratts are constantly changing – depending on the current direction and wind intensity and sea currents – thanks to which the frames from each subsequent visit to this place will be genuinely unique.
