The best attraction in Warsaw is back. You can use it for free

Residents and tourists waited for these Warsaw attractions throughout the winter. From May 1 you will be able to use them again.
Summer officially returns to Warsaw. From May 1, you will be able to use your favorite holiday activities in the capital again. With the start of the new month, ferry crossings through the Vistula will return, as well as rides by historic public transport and all -day cruises to Serock. We will pay little for admission to these unique attractions, and some of them will be completely free.
Free ferries through the Vistula in Warsaw
Already on May 1 in Warsaw ferries will start, which will take tourists for free through the Vistula. You do not need to buy a ticket – just find yourself at the municipal navigation stop at the right time, and then board the floating unit (there is a limit of places). The crossings through the Vistula will be available in three points: between Cypl Czerniakowski and Saska Kępa, Poniatowski Bridge and the National Stadium, as well as Podzamcze and Zoo. Although the cruises last only a few minutes, it is an interesting way to travel to the other side of the boulevards. It is worth remembering that until summer it starts for good, this attraction can only be used on weekends and holidays. “In the summer, from July 1 to August 31, the crossings will be available every day,” informs the Warsaw City Hall of Warsaw.
Historic trams and boat cruises
This is not the end of impressions, because in less than a week historic buses and trams will go to Warsaw’s streets, which can be rided on the basis of a valid ZTM ticket. “In the case of vehicles without sentences, tickets are deleted by conductors – members of the Public Transport Lovers Club,” we read.
The frequency and accurate routes will change over the season, so it’s worth getting acquainted with the list on the website of the Medical University. There will be a historic “T” line on the tracks, thanks to which passengers will be able to ride the oldest wagons from the Warsaw collection.
Another attraction that the first Warsaw residents will be able to use in May will be all -day cruises. The “Zefir” ship will start his journey from the marina at the Żerański Canal, and then through the Zegrzyński Lagoon reach Serock. Ships will be available on selected days (weekends and holidays), and the journey back and back will last from 9:00 to around 18:00. A normal ticket for such a cruise costs PLN 70 for an adult.
