The bad weather on the Baltic Sea is not a sentence. Then you can find such treasures on the beach

Deszcz nad Bałtykiem

The weather on the Baltic Sea in recent days is far from his dream. However, these are excellent conditions to find real treasures on the beach.

This year’s summer certainly cannot be counted as successful. The weather, so far does not spoil, and tourists on the Baltic Sea are the worst in this respect. When the temperature drops below 20 degrees Celsius, a strong wind blows and it rains, there is no question of sunbathing. Contrary to appearances, a vacation in such an aura does not have to be written on losses. It is after the storms that the best time comes to go around the sand in the search for “Golden Baltic”. According to the portal to the spit, we can now expect a real amber rash in many resorts.

The tragic season on the Baltic Sea

“The worst season in 30 years” – this is what the owners of guesthouses on the Baltic Sea say about the lasting summer. Tourists from Poland, Germany or the Czech Republic do not want to overpay for their stay, and then spend a week of vacation, looking at the rain outside the window. As one of the rescuers on the beach in Dźwirzyna noted, throughout July only five days were really beach.

Those who, despite scaring the weather, ultimately decide to come, look for other activities. The Polish coast offers not only beaches and waffles, but also Travels by narrow -gauge railway, visits to the lighthouses or insufficiently appreciated walks in the forests, which smell the most beautiful during the rain.

Amber compensates for a failed vacation

Even when there is a lack of heat and sun, you can meet walkers on the beaches. However, they are not looking for a free deckchair, but hidden in the sand. “Baltic gold” is thrown out by the waves ashore – so right after the storms you can find the most. As the editors of the Portal to Mierzeja report, the last large rash took place yesterday in the village of Mikoszewo. That day, many people “faded” in the treasures, which can be seen in the comments in the pictures with hands and bowls full of amber.

Tourists usually collect amber with a view to souvenir or independent jewelry. Some, however, decide to sell it.
