The army comes to the rescue. It’s about Poles in the Middle East
Donald Tusk and Karol Nawrocki decided to send Polish soldiers to the Middle East to help evacuate tourists.
Donald Tusk announced that he had decided to use military aircraft to support the evacuation of Poles from the Middle East. According to the regulations, the final decision in this matter belonged to Karol Nawrocki, who is the commander-in-chief of the armed forces. The National Security Bureau reported that the president agreed to the prime minister’s request and signed the relevant documents.
The great evacuation of Poles from the Middle East
Thus, Polish soldiers will fly to the Middle East to help evacuate our compatriots from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, Israel, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and the United Arab Emirates.
Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz explained that the evacuation organized by the army will concern those who need medical assistance and whose health and life are at risk.
Donald Tusk also appealed for other people waiting for evacuation to understand this situation. “If the plane flies for the sick and there is also room for the healthy, we will evacuate everyone who needs it as much as possible,” he stressed.
The Prime Minister once again issued a warning to all tourists to avoid all non-essential travel to the Middle East, even if it means wasting money on paid trips. “Whoever flies today may have to wait for state aid in a moment. Those who don’t have to, should not fly,” he said.
